The Barstow Senior Center proudly swore in its new Board of Directors, marking an exciting new chapter as we head into a very special year — our 50th anniversary.

Leading the Board is President Anna Fuzie, alongside Vice President Kae Dickson, Secretary Susan Shrum, and Treasurer Steve Slobodzian. They are joined by dedicated Board Members Dianne Bryant, Anna Martinez, and Alberta Olegario, all of whom bring a shared passion for serving seniors and strengthening our community.

This new Board steps in with energy, optimism, and a deep respect for the Center’s history. As we celebrate five decades of service to Barstow’s seniors, the Board is excited to build on that legacy while looking ahead to new ideas, expanded programs, and continued community partnerships.

The year ahead promises meaningful celebrations, strong leadership, and a renewed commitment to making the Barstow Senior Center a welcoming place to connect, grow, and thrive. With this team at the helm, the future looks bright — and the 50th anniversary year is shaping up to be one to remember.

Please join us in congratulating and welcoming our new Board of Directors as they begin this important journey together.
